Forum Rules and Policies
To become a member of this fun forum is free and easy, however , by registering to become a member is your aknowledgement that you agree and will abide by our rules and regulations. If you do not agree with our rules, please do not register.
Posting RULES
1. Use the right forum: Post in the forum closest relating to your question. Moderators will move the thread if they deem appropriate.
2. If a thread on your desired topic already exists, please post to the old one. Repeat topics will be removed. If unsure, please use the search icon on desired topic.
3. Your subject line should be short and make your post unique.
4. No posting of advertisements, solicitations and promoting other boards! This will be edited/deleted or removed without prior notice.
5. NO SPAMMING thru email or PM of any sort of advertisements, other forum boards or solicitations!
6. OFF topic: We encourage everyone to participate in each discussions without posting too many off topic chit-chats so that momentum of discussions will not break. Chit-chats are encouraged in the Intros, rooms and personals.
7. Use of smilies: The use of smilies is not against the rules nor is it discouraged. When used sensibly in proper context, smilies add emotions to our discussions...hence the term emoticons (short for emotion icons).
However, when smilies are used for constant "spamming", it can be as irritating as that of too much off-topic discussions.
The same rule also applies to the use of "Greeting Cards." Occasional use of Greeting Cards are accepted (birthdays, holidays, welcome back, etc.). But when used just to pad-up post points, it takes aways from the intended message of the card and it can be really annoying. And as such, points earned through Greeting Card spamming will not be counted and will be deducted from the member's total points.
8. The MODERATOR's word is final.
PICTURES/SIGNATURES
a. Limit picture size to 640X480 pixels (either portrait or landscape)
b. Limit avatar size to 160x120 and signature size to 150X500 pixels, image AND text combined

A word of advice: there is greater tolerance for potentially offensive posts (cussing, obscene jokes, ...) in the off-topic forum or to any forums . Posts deemed " too offensive will be: edited, or in extreme cases, deleted.
- We are an easy going group of people. Most of the time you will not even know we are here, since barely ever intererfere with users and their posts. Most infractions are overlooked, with no criticism to the user. Though we do not keep records, further infractions will prompt warnings from moderators, usually in a post, private message, or email. Beyond this, we deal with each case individually, attempting to best deal with the differences between the user and the rest of the board community, to come to a solution that is beneficial to everyone.
HOWEVER:
This forum is a privilege, not a right. Treat this forum as you would any social environment. As a user, you are expected to understand that the same rules of respect, understanding, and cause-consequence that apply to real life social environments apply here as well.
The staff reserves the right to take away member priveleges without advanced notice and that include (PM) private message, Email, use of My Controls and can even result to membership cancellation if any of the above guidelines are violated !
